"If you put a radio near a source of EMFs you will get interference. The human brain has an electric field so if you put sources of EMFs nearby, it is not surprising that you get interference, interaction with systems and damage to cells and molecules." - Olle Johansson, Associate Professor of Neuroscience at the Karolinska Institute in Sweden
Human use of electromagnetism for power and communications has produced an abnormal electromagnetic environment unlike anything that existed before. Electromagnetic radiation is linked to cancer, leukemia, headaches, fatigue, cataracts, miscarriages and birth defects. The US EPA recommends "prudent avoidance."
Living organisms are themselves electromagnetic instruments of great sensitivity that can support a variety of electrical vibrations; these can be interfered with by external radiation - both at microwave and very much lower (ELF) frequencies - in a number of ways, from which adverse health effects can follow. In fact, numerous studies from leading scientists have linked long-term EMF exposure to increased risks to some of the major ailments today.
